Von Miller's words meant nothing two years ago. He needed to prove, not say, he could change his off-field behavior following a positive drug test.

That's exactly what Miller did. And as a result, the all-star Broncos linebacker is out of the league's substance abuse program after two clean years of random testing.

Miller now has the same staus as a player who never tested positive for drugs, according to 9News in Denver. He hasn't been tested in over a month.

That's great news for No. 58, who enters this season poised to do big things for the Broncos.

It can't hurt his bottom line, either. Miller becomes a free agent after this season and won't have the stigma of a failed drug test hanging over negotiations.
