BALTIMORE (AP) — The Ravens have rehired former Cleveland Browns general manager George Kokinis, who worked in Baltimore's front office for 13 years.
The team announced Tuesday that Kokinis will serve as a senior personnel assistant. General manager Ozzie Newsome says Kokinis will help evaluate college and pro players.
Kokinis was Baltimore's director of pro personnel from 2003-08, before leaving to become Cleveland's GM.
He was dismissed by the Browns on Nov. 2 with the team 1-7, then filed a grievance with the NFL seeking more than $4 million in compensation and damages from the team.
An undisclosed settlement was reached between Kokinis and the team in February.
