Eindhoven, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - PSV Eindhoven kept pace with Twente at the top of the Eredivisie table on Sunday thanks to a 2-1 victory over 10-man RKC Waalwijk at the Philips Stadion.

Ola Toivonen had given PSV the lead in the 23rd minute, but RKC got back on equal terms moments before the halftime interval thanks to Robert Braber.

The two sides remained level until Sander Duits was sent off for the visitors in the 85th minute, which helped give PSV the impetus to find a winner, which came four minutes later through Jurgen Locadia's first league goal of the season.

PSV improves to 18 points to stay even with Twente after its 1-0 defeat of Cambuur on Friday.

Ajax also kept pace with a victory on Sunday as its 3-0 defeat of Utrecht lifted the reigning Eredivisie champions to 17 points. Thulani Serero, Davy Klaassen and Danny Hoesen submitted a goal apiece to help keep Ajax in the title discussion.

Also on Sunday, Stefan de Vrij and Graziano Pelle scored two minutes apart in the first half to power Feyenoord to a 2-1 defeat of Vitesse while a 71st- minute strike from Richairo Zivkovic proved to be the difference in Groningen's 2-1 win over AZ Alkmaar.
