Jheryl Wilson and Isaiah Wilkerson scored 23 points apiece Saturday to lead New Jersey Tech to an 86-83 victory over Chicago State.

Chris Flores added 14 points for the Highlanders (6-11, 3-0 Great West), who won their first road game. Flores also had six assists, and Wilkerson had four steals.

Jonathon Montgomery led the Cougars (5-15, 2-2) with a game-best 29 points. Carl Montgomery scored 23 points and Victor Scott 17. Christian Wall had five assists for Chicago State, whose winning streak ended at two.

The Highlanders connected on 51.8 percent (29 of 56) from the floor and 40.9 percent (9 of 22) from 3-point distance, led by Wilson's 5 of 9.

The Cougars were even better at 54.7 percent (29 of 53) from the field and 52.0 percent (13 of 25) from 3-point range. Jonathon Montgomery went 7 of 11 from long distance and Scott 5 of 7.
