TALLADEGA, Ala. – Matt Kenseth regrets nothing about his scuffle with Brad Keselowski after the race at Charlotte, and he doesn't believe he did anything wrong.
Keselowski isn't reflecting on his actions after last Saturday night's race. He was fined $50,000 this week by NASCAR for hitting Kenseth near the entrance to pit road, contact that led Kenseth to jump Keselowski in the garage.
The poor finishes at Charlotte sent both drivers to Talladega Superspeedway needing a win Sunday to avoid elimination from the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. Keselowski said Friday his preparation for this race needs to be his only focus.
Kenseth said simply Keselowski had pushed him to his "breaking point" and that's why he tried to tackle him from behind after the race.
