Milan, Italy – Inter Milan revealed Tuesday that midfielder Fredy Guarin is expected to miss the next three weeks with a thigh injury.
The Colombia international was subbed off in the club's loss at Atalanta on Sunday and he will join a long list of key Inter players on the sidelines - Wesley Sneijder, Joel Obi, Philippe Coutinho, Dejan Stankovic and McDonald Mariga have all missed time with various injuries.
"A first-grade strain to the left thigh," Inter said of Guarin's injury in a statement. "That is the discovery of medical tests conducted on Fredy Guarin after he complained of a problem against Atalanta."
Inter is hopeful that Guarin can return to action on December 2 when the club hosts Palermo at the San Siro.
