Genoa, Italy – Genoa has been ordered to play its final two homes games of the season behind closed doors after crowd trouble delayed Sunday's match against Siena.
With the home side trailing Siena 4-0, a group of supporters gathered near the tunnel and threatened to storm the field unless Genoa's players removed their shirts, claiming they were not fit to wear the colors of the club.
The disciplinary commission has reviewed the incident and decided that fans will not be allowed into the stadium for Genoa's last two home games against Cagliari and Palermo.
The club is one point above the relegation zone with five games to play.
