Nice, France – Nice announced on Monday that the club has agreed to a contract extension with midfielder Didier Digard ahead of the new Ligue 1 campaign.
Digard joined Nice in 2011 following loan spells with the club from Middlesbrough, and he has decided to extend his stay at the Stade Municipal du Ray, although the length of the contract was not disclosed.
The 27-year-old played a big part in the fourth-place finish for Nice last term, starting 36 league games and scoring two goals with three assists.
