Brooklyn, MI – Matt Crafton will start on the pole for Saturday's VFW 200 Camping World Truck Series race after topping the charts in qualifying at Michigan International Speedway.
Crafton posted a lap at 177.489 mph for his first pole of the season and the fifth in his truck career. His most recent pole came last November at Texas.
Todd Bodine's lap at 177.288 mph earned him the outside pole. Ron Hornaday Jr. qualified third, followed by Mark Martin and rookie Parker Kligerman.
Kevin Harvick, who won two weeks ago at Pocono, Ricky Carmichael, Nelson Piquet Jr., Miguel Paludo and Austin Dillon, the current points leader, will start sixth through 10th, respectively.
Kyle Busch will roll off 13th.
All 33 drivers who qualified made the starting field for the 200-mile race, which is scheduled to start just after 12:30 p.m. (et).
