Manchester City must learn to kill off opponents in the wake of Saturday's 2-2 draw at West Ham, according to Gael Clichy.

Clichy started in east London as City needed two Sergio Aguero equalizers against the Hammers to rescue a point and stay within three points of top spot in the Premier League.

Aguero and Fabian Delph hit the frame of the goal, while both sides had chances to win the game in the final few minutes.

"I think we can always do better," Clichy told City TV. "We conceded a couple of goals which tells you we can do better.

"Overall our performance was good but their second goal killed us a bit as we were on top of them. But that's what happens if you don't take your chances.

"It's a hard place to go. We wanted the three points and we didn't get them, but we will take the positives.

"I'm not surprised at how good West Ham were, they are a great team with great players. But we can do better and we have to do better."
