Chris Anderson scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, to lift Louisiana Tech to a 67-58 win over Alabama-Birmingham on Sunday.

Louisiana Tech (24-6, 12-3 C-USA) shot just 39 percent from the field but overwhelmed UAB from long range, sinking 10 of its 27 3-point shots while holding the Blazers to just 1 of 13 from behind the arc.

Kenyon McNeail contributed 14 points for the Bulldogs, who have won seven of their last eight games and remain in a four-way tie with Southern Miss, Tulsa and Middle Tennessee atop the conference standings.

UAB (18-11, 7-8) out-rebounded the Bulldogs 47-35 but hit just 22 of 63 from the field.

Fahro Alihodzic led the Blazers with 13 points and 10 rebounds, Rod Rucker added 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Chad Frazier had 10 points.

Louisiana Tech finishes its regular season Thursday at Rice, while UAB hosts conference co-leader Middle Tennessee.
