Two first-half goals helped Celtic keep leaders Rangers, as the green-and-white hoops earned a 2-1 win over Dunfermline at Parkhead on Wednesday.

Gary Hooper scored in the 6th minute and James Forrest added a second just seven minutes later to help Celtic claim its tenth win of the Scottish Premier League season.

Andrew Barrowman pulled a goal back in the 86th minute, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation strike as Dunfermline failed to find an equalizer in the dying minutes.

It is the third straight win for Celtic, which keeps the club on pace with unbeaten Rangers. The reigning champions lead the Scottish league with 39 points, while Celtic sits second on 32 points.

Dunfermline has lost eight of its last 11 league matches, pulling the club down into tenth place with just 13 points on the season.
