Glendale, AZ – Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton left Sunday's season opener against the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth quarter due to a right ankle injury.
Skelton took a hit to his ankle after letting a pass go while the pocket was collapsing around him in the fourth quarter. He remained on the ground for several minutes while team trainers examined him before being carted to the locker room.
Skelton completed 14-of-29 passes for 149 yards and an interception. Kevin Kolb took over under center.
