The Denver Broncos head to training camp in two days with no real inkling on the future of one big offseason signing.

According to the Denver Post, the Fort Bend (Texas) County district attorney has not determined whether he'll charge Broncos defensive end Antonio Smith on accusations of criminal child sexual abuse.

"The complaint is still under investigation and no determination has been made to formally charge Mr. Smith at this time," said John F. Healy Jr., the district attorney in charge of Smith's case.

Until Healy decides, Smith's new team will remain in a bizarre holding pattern. They dismissed the ex-Raider from OTAs and have yet to welcome him back.

They could use a swift resolution. Denver's defensive line became a little thinner following Derek Wolfe's suspension.
