2024 Olympic soccer odds: France favored to win gold in final against Spain

The men's final soccer match for the 2024 Paris Olympics is set, and bettors can back either France or Spain to capture the gold medal.

France sits at the top of the board as the favorite at -135. Those odds have shortened from +230 since the Games began and from -105 since getting past Egypt 3-1 in the semifinals.

Spain is the underdog at +105. It punched its ticket to the gold medal match after defeating Morocco 2-1 and saw its odds move from +225.

The teams will face off Friday, Aug. 9 at noon ET to see who takes the top spot on the Olympic podium.

Each team's 18-player roster is restricted to players under the age of 23, with an exception for three players who can be older. 

A bit of history was made at this year's Olympics. Morocco won its first medal in soccer after it captured the bronze by defeating Egypt 6-0 in the third-place match. 

Team USA was eliminated from the tournament after a 4-0 quarterfinal loss to Morocco. The American men have not medaled since 1904 in the sport.
