Kyle Busch says he'd take a winless Chase if it pays off with a championship.

Busch is 2 for 2 to start the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. He has second-place finishes at Chicagoland and New Hampshire. That puts him in second place in the standings behind Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Matt Kenseth.

Busch and five-time champion Jimmie Johnson are the only drivers truly threatening Kenseth for the lead as the Chase shifts to Dover for Sunday's race.

Busch says he hasn't paid attention to the standings. But he says it's too early to consider the Chase simply a three-driver race.

Kenseth has a series high seven wins this season. He won the first two Chase races. Busch has four victories this season.
