It’s a reptilian battle between the creepy crawlies. A video of two deadly snakes – a python and a king cobra – on a street in Singapore has been making the rounds online. Passersby looked on as the two snakes twisted around one another, the Telegraph reports.
The fight lasted about 30 minutes, during which the python “constricted itself around the cobra’s head,” an observer told Channel NewsAsia.
The 10 to 12-foot-long cobra ended up escaping to nearby bushes after being designated the clear victor. It bit the other snake with its poisonous fangs.
Authorities managed to capture both snakes. The cobra was moved to zoo, while the python was released back to the wild, with low chances of survival.
