On 'Hannity,' former campaign manger speaks out

President-elect Donald Trump's former campaign manager said Tuesday that Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign was "fatally flawed," adding that the Democratic nominee "never connected with the American people."

In an interview with Fox News' "Hannity," Corey Lewandowski discussed a heated post-election forum held at Harvard University where Clinton campaign spokesman Jennifer Palmieri accused the Trump campaign of offering a platform to white supremacists.

"Donald Trump won over 200 counties that Barack Obama won four years ago," Lewandowski said. "That is not for any other reason other than the fact that people want a better country.

"The Clinton campaign ran a fundamentally flawed campaign, they had a fundamentally flawed candidate and they refuse to take any blame for the way the campaign turned out," he added. "They blame everybody except themselves for it."

TRUMP RIPS BOEING FOR COST OVERRUNS ON NEW AIR FORCE ONE 

Lewandowski also defended Trump's criticism of Boeing for alleged cost overruns on a new fleet of Air Force One planes. The president-elect said in a tweet Tuesday morning that the price tag was "more than $4 billion" before adding "Cancel order!"

"He’s looking at $4 billion and saying, ‘Is this the best we can do? Let’s shave the cost. Let’s use our taxpayer dollars wisely,’" Lewandowski said of Trump. "Why are we spending $4 billion if the plane should really be a $2 billion plane?"
