Krauthammer: Talking about Trump is 'a complete waste of time'

Charles Krauthammer told viewers Wednesday on “Special Report with Bret Baier” that talking about 2016 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is a “complete waste of time.”

The business mogul sparked controversy in June after calling some Mexican immigrants "rapists" and "killers." Krauthammer, a syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor, thinks Donald Trump craves attention.

“If you don't ignore him, you end up in exactly what he wants -- a conversation about him. It's a complete waste of time.” said Krauthammer.

When asked if Donald Trump could be credited with raising more awareness about immigration problems in the country, Krauthammer said “the idea that these issues were not raised, that immigration is not an issue until Trump came along is preposterous.”
