The first annual Masturbate-a-Thon took off in Philadelphia on Wednesday, marking the beginning of National Masturbation Month, Huffington Post is reporting.
According to local reports from Philadelphia magazine, many attendees and participants were overjoyed. Figures.
The magazine also said that profits of this interesting event will go to sex ed groups Screw Smart and Pleasure Rush!.
People interested in giving money to the event can also log on to Crowdrise.com and donate cash. The Huffington Post reported that Crowd Rise hopes to get conversation about the power of expressing oneself sexually, as well as to promote sexual health and focus on the importance of feeling pleasure.
On Thursday, participants were invited to attend “Creamium,” a game show and awards ceremony, were accolades such as "Most Creative Fantasy," "Most Pleasure Connections," and "Most Money Raised" were given.
