A study released Monday says kids’ brains are more susceptible to radiation from cell phones than adults.

The report says kids absorb twice as much radiation from cell phones than adults do.

The study blames the increase on the fact that children have thinner skulls and their bodies are smaller than adults. It was written by members at the Environmental Health Trust and released in the Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine Journal.

The World Health Organization changed its view of cell phone radiation earlier this year. It now classifies it as “possibly carcinogenic.”
