Talk about a grand finale.
During a performance of her 2010 debut single "Whip My Hair," Willow Smith surprised viewers by getting her head shaved onstage.
The moment capped off the 20-year-old musician’s "Willow in Concert: Lately I Feel Everything" event on Facebook Live Friday, which celebrated the release of her new album.
"I’m always shaving my head at monumental times in my life, when things are really changing. And this is definitely one of those moments," Willow said in a behind-the-scenes clip, adding that this marks the third time she’s buzzed off her locks.

The "Transparent Soul" singer first shaved her head as an act of rebellion during her 2012 "Whip My Hair" tour, when she was just 11 years old; her father, Will Smith, later said her spontaneous move served as a parenting wake-up call.
She then buzzed her head once again for an intense art installation in early 2020, during which she also locked herself in a box for 24 hours.
And Willow recently inspired her mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, to debut a buzz cut of her own.
"Willow made me do it because it was time to let go," the 49-year-old captioned a sweet selfie with her daughter last week.
Fans were in awe of the brave concert finale, and Willow’s "Whip My Hair" performance quickly began circulating on social media.
"Ok, totally teared up at the end. I can’t wait to get this album!" one fan gushed. They were also proud of her genre shift: "Legend behavior. she is so metal I love her," another tweeted.
