Sexy actor William Levy is set to star as a warrior leading a destructive campaign in his new sci-fi adventure flick “The Veil.”

Currently in production in remote parts of Oklahoma, the film also stars William Moseley, best known for his role as Peter in the “Chronicles of Narnia” series, and Serinda Swan, who previously starred in “Tron: Legacy.”

“I have dreamed of doing a role like this since I was a kid,” Levy said in a statement. “The character of ‘Warrior’ is so layered, and it is giving me a chance to show my full acting range. It’s an actor’s dream.”

The film’s director Brent Ryan Green pointed out that Levy is one of the biggest stars in the Latino market with fans from all over the world who are “anxious to see him in this kind of interesting and transformative role.”

Green added that during filming, families have been camping out near the set waiting to catch a glimpse of the Cuban model-turned-actor.

“He has die-hard fans!” the director added.

Levy, who attained international acclaim through his work in Spanish-language soap operas, recently announced he was stepping away from the telenovelas to concentrate on his family and movie projects.

The 33-year-old told Telemundo that “La Tempestad” would be his last telenovela.

“It is too much work, and, as time goes by, I’m trying to find new priorities,” Levy said of working on the TV series. “I want to be with my children and spend more time with them. We will see what happens because it is too much time and tiring.”

In addition to “The Veil,” Levy is gearing up for the Hollywood premieres of three new projects, the steamy “Addicted,” the horror-western “Rio Sangre” and Tyler Perry’s “Single Mom’s Club.”

Next year, he will also begin filming “Salsa,” opposite Jada Pinkett-Smith, about a woman whose life is altered when she falls for a handsome dance instructor.
