Country singer Trace Adkins was reportedly drunk at a charity performance Wednesday night in New Jersey.

According to video obtained by TMZ, the "Lit" singer appears to slur his way through three songs at the fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The performance was seemingly so bad, concertgoers reportedly left before the end of the show.

A rep for the singer did not return FOX411 Country's request for comment.

Adkins was the headliner for the Rockin' Country Thunder 106 Guys With Guitars Under the Stars benefit concert in Seaside Heights, NJ. Attendees said the singer was clearly in no state to perform.

"You couldn't hear him except for him mumbling," one concertgoer told APP.com. "My girlfriend said 'I think he's drunk or something' and everyone was picking up their chairs and leaving."

"Praying for him to overcome his demons because he is a talented man. However, coming on stage in the condition he did, and singing ['Whoop a Man's A--'] in front of children at a St Jude's concert was disrespectful to the foundation and the kids," someone commented on Thunder 106's Facebook page.

The radio station's program director Chris VanZant wrote on Facebook, "Apparently we have one of our country music family who needs our love, support and understanding. I hope you'll take a moment and send a positive thought, support and prayer."

The 54-year-old has a history with alcohol-related problems. He most recently checked himself into rehab in 2014 after getting into a drunken fight with an impersonator on a cruise ship.

He also went to rehab for 28 days in 2001 after an intervention from his wife and daughters.
