Ever wonder what you could be making if you were a celebrity?
Well, if you were Brad Pitt, you would be raking in about $35.5 million per year, but if you were Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson your salary for 2012 would be just $50,000. (Still, not too bad for a 7 year old.)
The salaries of the stars are detailed in the latest issue of Parade magazine, which estimated who is bringing in the big bucks in Hollywood.
According to Parade, Justin Bieber made about $55 million last year –which breaks down to $6,261 per hour.
But one person earning more than the Biebs is Miami Heat superstar Lebron James, who is one of the world’s highest paid athletes, according to the mag. He made an estimated $57.5 million last year, but $40 million of that was from endorsement deals.
Another celeb who is taking advantage of endorsement deals is Sofia Vergara. With her Pepsi commercials, CoverGirl deal and Kmart clothing line, the “Modern Family” star made $21 million last year. ETOnline reported she makes about $175,000 per episode of the ABC comedy series.
Somewhat surprisingly, YouTube sensation Carly Rae Jepsen made just $2 million in 2012, even with her song “Call Me Maybe” going viral.
Also unexpected, the quiet Olsen twins, who have stayed out of the spotlight in recent years, still raked in an estimated $40 million each last year. Their hefty salaries no longer come from their acting gigs, but rather from their popular clothing lines, which have earned about $1 billion in retail sales.
