Source: Despite divorce drama, Tom Cruise 'upbeat' like 'nothing is wrong'

Tom Cruise has just been through an ugly, media-saturated divorce to his wife of almost six years Katie Holmes, but it seems the A-list actor is operating under the motto "the show must go on."

We're told Cruise departed Los Angeles last Friday, after having a few days with his six-year-old daughter Suri in New York for the first time since the filing. His rep confirmed to Fox411 that he is spending the next few days in London working on pre-production of his next film, “All You Need Is Kill.”

"He is incredibly gracious and upbeat," a source connected to the "Rock of Ages" star told FOX411's Pop Tarts column. "You wouldn't even know anything was wrong."

Cruise was also spotted greeting hotel staff upon his arrival to the UK city, and while he looked a little tired, he was nothing but smiles.

Ever the consummate professional, the actor surprised many when he continued filming the sci-fi flick "Oblivion" in Iceland, despite Holmes having blind-sided him with the divorce and a request for sole custody of their daughter.
