After a year of marriage Avril Lavigne and Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger are reportedly heading for a split reports Us Weekly.
“It’s over,” a source told the magazine. “He has been going around L.A. telling people that they are divorcing.”
Kroeger, 39, proposed to Lavigne, 29, in August 2012 after dating for only a month. They wed in a small ceremony in the South of France in July 2013. This year the Canadian pop star gushed via Twitter about the 17- carat emerald-cut ring Kroeger gave to her as a first year anniversary gift.
This is Lavigne’s second marriage. She was wed to Sum41 singer Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2010 and she dated Brody Jenner for two years.
