G-Eazy was reportedly denied entry into Canada on Monday, forcing him to cancel a performance.

The 29-year-old rapper and his entourage allegedly encountered issues with customs agents upon arriving in Calgary, Alberta, insiders told TMZ. The Cowboys Music Festival confirmed Monday that he would not perform that evening.

“Cowboys regrets to inform you that G-Eazy is unable to perform tonight due to reasons beyond our control,” the festival said in a statement, via Twitter

“Trust us — we know this really sucks but we are still going to throw a massive legendary hip-hop party for you tonight,” the statement concluded.

G-Eazy, real name Gerald Earl Gillum, is coming off a rough couple of weeks, after being busted for cocaine possession and assault in Sweden back in May. He and girlfriend Halsey also split this month after a year of dating.

After breaking down on stage at a recent concert, Halsey, 23, took to Twitter on Monday, shutting down rumors she had already moved on with Machine Gun Kelly. Replying to a since-deleted photo of her and the rapper, Halsey posted (per the Daily Mail), “I’m not at the beach. I’m on tour. Alone. Slow news week I guess.”

“I’m not with anybody. That photo is 2 years old. Everyone mind they damn business,” she tweeted.

Halsey addressed the breakup on social media last week, confirming she and G-Eazy are “taking some time apart.”

A rep for G-Eazy did not immediately return our request for comment.
