“Stars Wars” brings out the inner child for many fans — and accomplished actor Oscar Isaac is no exception.

The 34-year-old actor told the NY Daily News that he first fell in love with the sci-fi franchise when he was about four years old. On the day before he was due at the set of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Isaac said he reverted back to being a child.

The Guatemalan-Cuban actor will play an X-wing fighter (as shown in the film’s trailer).

“I remember being in my hotel room and using a shampoo bottle for an X-wing and flying it around my room,” he told the Daily News. “That’s how you tap back into the spirit.”

The “A Most Violent Year” star said he has been a huge fan of the films and remembers seeing 1983’s “Return of the Jedi” in theaters.

“In fact, I realized that was the key to the character and into the world – reverting back to that childlike feeling,” he said, but remained tight-lipped about divulging any more details about the highly anticipated J.J. Abrams-directed film.

Last year, Isaac told Fox News Latino that it was “wild” to see himself in the film’s teaser, but could not say anything about it.

“I’ve signed away my organs,” he joked.
