Ana Tijoux is no stranger to the glitz and glamour that comes to walking red carpets, presenting at award shows and rocking out a stage.
But, this year for the Latin Grammys Tijoux is walking the red carpets and taking in the ceremony with her unborn baby as she unapologetically shows off her baby bump.
Latin music's biggest night is being broadcast live from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on Thursday.
"I'm five months pregnant!" the songstress/rapper tells Fox News Latino. "The last time we spoke I was pregnant and dint even know it," she recalled.
Tijoux story and background is quite unique. The Chilean-French singer's parents fled Chile during the Pinochet regime to France where Tijoux was born. It was when she was a teenager that she made her way back to Chile.
"I discovered my people," Tijoux told Fox News Latino in an exclusive interview during the Latin Alternative Music Conference a few weeks prior to the Latin Grammys.
"I learned about my community," she added saying that singing and talking in Spanish is now easier than doing so in French. It is her love for the Latino community the reason why she voices her thoughts on the controversial Arizona laws against undocumented immigrants.
For Tijoux collaborating with up-and-coming artists "who are arriving" in the music industry is critical because she says it's her way of learning and giving others opportunities she was given from artists such as Mexican singer/songwriter Julieta Venegas.
