Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel admit they're still figuring out the parenting thing.
The couple were honored at the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network's Respect Awards with the Inspiration Award on Friday evening and got candid about being new parents to 6-month-old son Silas.
"My beautiful wife and I are a couple of new parents. We're not very good at it yet," Timberlake joked during his speech, drawing laughs from the audience.

"So first we want to say thank you to GLSEN, not just for this meaningful honor we're proud to share but for a quarter century of inspiring positive change, which means it was right around the time as "The Mickey Mouse Club," but still not as important as "7th Heaven," the 34-year-old entertainer deadpanned, referencing his wife's popular WB drama. "I'm kidding!"
Being parents to a toddler means date nights out are few and far between, and Timberlake made note of that fact.
"Thank you for allowing mommy and daddy to have a rare date night out together with other adults," the "Mirrors" singer quipped.
Then he turned to Biel.

"Honey, look around, this is what adults look like! They do exist. They don't smell like poopy diapers -- some of you do," he said to laughter.
Later in the evening, Timberlake thanked GLSEN for "starting a trend for change, a change that one day will make it possible for our own son to grow up and thrive in a world where ... all you have to do is be yourself."
Six months after Timberlake and Biel welcomed their first child, Silas Randall, the couple stepped out for their first red carpet appearance together on Thursday at the Fashion Group International Night of Stars Gala at New York City's Cipriani Wall Street where Biel stunned in a teal Dolce & Gabbana laser-cut dress.

Last weekend, Timberlake got emotional when he officially became the youngest singer to be inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame.
"This is the f---ing coolest thing that has ever happened to me," Timberlake said.
The Timberlakes haven't made many public appearances together since becoming parents, but they've shared glimpses into their lives as parents on social media, including their first Father's Day and Silas rooting for his hometown basketball team, the Memphis Grizzlies.
Recently, Timberlake visited "The Tonight Show" where he and his good pal Jimmy Fallon marveled over fatherhood.
"It is the most insanely amazing, wonderful, unbelievable thing to ever happen to you," Timberlake gushed.
