Jasmine V has a bun in the oven.

The 21-year-old pop singer – who was once rumored to have dated Justin Bieber – announced via Twitter on Monday that she is expecting her first child.

“Jasminators I’ve always been honest with you guys and you’ve always been supportive of me. I wanted to share this news with you guys,” she wrote, following it up with a link to an interview with Cosmo for Latinas in which she reveals she is six months pregnant.

“I'm so, so excited to finally be sharing the news with the rest of the world,” she told the publication, adding, “It was a very crazy moment for me; I never thought I would have a baby at 22, but I'm definitely excited. I'm super excited to meet my baby and to be a mom.”

The singer, whose full name is Jasmine Villegas, didn’t name the baby’s father but did reveal that she is nervous being pregnant so young because “it’s looked down on to be young and pregnant in this country.”

“A girl who has a child young is thought of as fast and wild, or as someone who doesn't know how to raise a child,” Villegas said. “But I've always known that I wanted kids, and I know that I'm old enough and that I'm responsible. In Latino culture, it's normal to have kids young.”

The singer, who toured with Fifth Harmony this year and is working on releasing an album, said she has no plans of slowing down while pregnant.

“I can't run on stage and perform. And I'll have to work 10 times harder. There will be no "off" days anymore,” she told the magazine. “I'll still be recording songs though, and I'm thrilled to be sharing my journey through social media.”

On Tuesday, the singer thanked her fans for their support in an Instagram post.

"I've always told you guys everything that goes on in my life and I've always been extremely honest ... This news may be shocking for a lot of you but I just wanted everyone to know how excited I am to start this new chapter in my life," she wrote. "I'm going to be a mother and I cannot wait to share my little one with you guys! Thank you for always being there for me when I need you the most, you're always appreciated jasminators."
