Motherhood may be placing a strain on Eva Mendes’ relationship with Ryan Gosling.

Just three months after their daughter was born, the two are “barely talking” and the Cuban-American actress is struggling at home in Los Angeles, reports OK! magazine.

The actor has been in Georgia filming “The Nice Guys.” The magazine said Mendes has refused to go see him, so he’s been “jetting back and forth just so he can see his daughter.”

"Eva has pushed him away," a source told the magazine.

Mendes and Gosling have been linked romantically since they met on the set of “A Place Beyond Pines” in 2011. She went out of her way to hide her pregnancy from paparazzi. Possibly as a result, she and Gosling have not been pictured together in over a year, according to the Daily Mail.

Esmeralda Amada was born in September. Last month, the “Hitch” actress told Violet Grey’s magazine, The Violet Files that motherhood was “exhausting.”

“I thought my wild nights were over, but these are some of the wildest nights I’ve ever had,” she said.

Mendes, 40, told the magazine that she and Gosling, 34, were raising Esmeralda without a nanny.

“As far as a nanny or a night nurse, for me that part of being a mother at this early stage is the struggle of not being able to sleep and not knowing what I’m doing and really going through it with her and battling out those nights,” she said.
