Gisele Bündchen shared a touching tribute in honor of her mother who passed away Sunday after battling cancer.
"It hurts to know that I won’t be able to hug you anymore, but I know that you will always be watching over us," Bündchen wrote in the caption. "You were an angel on earth, always helping everyone around you. I am so grateful to be your daughter and to have learned from you. Thank you for being the best role model of love, strength, compassion, courage, and grace."
"I will forever cherish the beautiful memories we shared and will live by the values you taught me," she added. "You will live forever through the many lives that you touched. Thank you for giving me five best friends for life. Your love will always guide us. I will see you in my dreams."
GISELE BUNDCHEN'S MOTHER DEAD AT 75
Vânia Maria Nonnenmacher Bündchen died Sunday in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Fox News Digital confirmed. She was 75.
Vânia died due to cancer, Moinhos de Vento Hospital shared in a statement. Gisele's mother had been admitted to the hospital in southeastern Brazil on Friday, Jan. 26.
Gisele is one of six children, and has a twin, Patricia, and sisters Rafaela, Graziela, Gabriela and Raquel.

Bündchen opened up about caring for her ailing parents in September.
"It's been very tough on my family," she told People magazine. "It's been a lot — in every area of my life. I feel like whenever it rains, it pours. With all the different twists and turns that life takes, all we can do is the best we can given what happens in our surroundings."

The former Victoria's Secret supermodel has experienced a rough few years in her personal life.
Bündchen and her ex-husband, Tom Brady, officially announced their divorce in separate Instagram posts in October 2022. The former couple were married for 13 years and share son Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11. Brady also shares son Jack, 16, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
The Brazilian beauty reflected on her relationship with Brady in an interview with Vanity Fair months after their divorce had been finalized.
"We’re not playing against each other," Bündchen said of Brady. "We are a team, and that’s beautiful. I look back, and I have no regrets. I loved every bit of it."
