"Friday" singer Rebecca Black will make a bid for musical credibility with a new single, The Hollywood Reporter reported Monday.

The viral video star will debut "My Moment" on her website and YouTube Channel on July 18, with online retailers to follow.

It will be 14-year-old's first new material since "Friday" made her an overnight star in February. The song was widely mocked and parodied for its shoestring film clip, banal lyrics and Black's unusual Auto-Tuned singing. It has since racked up 167 million plays on YouTube, making it the most-watched video in the site's history.

"My Moment" promises to be a more of a big-budget affair, with production from Charlton Pettus (Tears For Fears, Hillary Duff) and a glossy video in the works. The clip will show Black attending red carpet premieres and adjusting to her new, glamorous lifestyle. "It's a fairytale story, but it happened in real life," Black said in a statement.

The singer is also working on a 5-track EP, due for release in August.

She recently demonstrated her star potential with a cameo in Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night" video.
