Former RBD Singer Christopher Von Uckermann Releases Solo Album

Singer and actor Christopher Von Uckermann has strayed from the RBD flock and begun his solo career.

The 24-year-old Mexican, who drove the ladies crazy as Diego Bustamante in the 2005 telenovela “Rebelde,” released his new album, titled “Somos,” on Tuesday.

Earlier this year, Uckermann gave his fans a sneak peek of “Somos” with the single “Sinfonía.”

Uckermann is not a rookie to fame and success. During his time with Mexican pop band RBD, the actor contributed to RBD selling millions of Spanish-, English- and Portuguese-language records world-wide. He's also an established entrepreneur who began a jewelry company called “Ferbus Fashion;” his products were worn in “Rebelde.”
