Diddy admits he had to explain J.Lo reunion pic to girlfriend

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, you got some explaining to do!

These were probably the words the rapper heard from girlfriend Cassie Ventura after a photo surfaced of him and ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez following the 2015 American Music Awards.

The two were seen chatting it up and laughing after the awards show.

The 46-year-old Combs said that while Cassie didn’t have a problem with the photo, she pressed him about the details.

"My woman, at the end of the day, you know, she ain't have a problem with it," he told Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club morning show last week, adding that Lopez had been joined by current boyfriend Casper Smart.

"Me and Jennifer… people gonna be friends, man," Combs said. "People gonna grow, and, you know, any of my exes, they smile and they're happy to see me… and that's all that was about. And, you know, I answered the question and we kept it moving.”

Combs and Lopez dated from 1999 to 2001. They split as a result of an infidelity.

"It was the first time I was with someone who wasn't faithful," Lopez told Vibe magazine in 2013. "I was in this relationship with Puff where I was totally crying, crazy and going nuts. It really took my whole life in a tailspin."

Diddy has been dating Cassie for five years.

In the photo, the former couple were snapped happily partying together at Lopez’s private AMA afterparty at Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails.
