Details of Whitney Houston's secret note to singer Brandy remain a mystery

Singer Brandy isn’t revealing what Whitney Houston wrote to her in a note given to her by the singer shortly before her death Saturday.

On a Feb. 9 interview in Los Angeles, Brandy, fellow singer Monica and Clive Davis were conducting an interview with E! News when Houston approached the group.

According to E! host Ryan Seacrest, Houston “crashed” the interview to talk to Monica about swimming for “two hours a day. She also passed the note to Brandy and gave Davis a hug.

E! later asked Brandy what was in the note, but she declined to reveal it.

“I’m going to just not say what it was and just keep it to myself for my own personal reasons,” Brandy told the network.

“Whitney meant everything to me … She’s the reason that I sing.”

Brandy’s younger brother Ray J was reportedly an on-again, off-again boyfriend to Houston. Brandy and Houston also appeared together in the 1997 film “Cinderella.”
