Courtney Stodden wants to live the single life.
The blonde bombshell's rep confirmed that she and 53-year-old husband Doug Hutchison have legally separated, and they plan to divorce soon.
"After two and a half years of marriage, Courtney and Doug have decided to become legally separated," her rep told the HollywoodLife.com. "Courtney was married at a young age. Now, at 19, she’s interested in exploring life as an unmarried single young adult – with the freedom to explore her independence."

But --in a strange twist-- the two won't be cutting all ties, her rep explained. Hutchison will manage Stodden's career, and they will continue to live in the same house.
"Doug supports Courtney 100 percent. The two will share custody of their precious pup, Dourtney, remain living in the same house [for now] in separate bedrooms, and Doug will be co-managing Courtney’s career."
The couple added: “We love each other very much, want for each other’s happiness, and will continue being the best of friends for life.”
Stodden recently appeared on the U.K. version of "Big Brother," and before that the duo appeared on VH1's "Couples Therapy."
Hutchison told FOX411 in September that rumors that the two were having marital issues were completely false.
"Our marriage is so strong. My love for her is unshakeable...There seems to be a small fraction of the press that want to see the demise of our marriage," he told us. "We’ve been married two and a half years. Time is the greatest test. The longer we’re married, as the years unfold people who have had a difficult time with our huge age difference are starting to accept it."
Stodden was just 16 when she married the "Green Mile" actor.
