Chris Pratt is going on the offensive.

The 35-year-old actor posted a hilarious apology on his Facebook page saying sorry for anything offensive he may have uttered while doing interviews for the upcoming “Jurassic World” movie.

Having gone through the grueling junket ringer last year promoting “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Pratt is keenly aware how exhaustion can lead to unintentional slips of the tongue.

"I am not in the business of making excuses. I am just dumb. Plain and simple. I try. I REALLY try!" the actor continues. "When I do (potentially) commit the offensive act for which I am now (pre) apologizing you must understand I (will likely have been) tired and exhausted when I (potentially) said that thing I (will have had) said that (will have had) crossed the line."

The “Parks and Recreation” actor even coined a nifty name for his faux pas-to-be.

"I am fully aware that the subject matter of my imminent forthcoming mistake, a blunder (possibly to be) dubbed 'JurassicGate' is (most likely) in no way a laughing matter," he concludes. "To those I (will likely have had) offended rest assured I will do everything in my power to make sure this doesn't happen (again)."

Jurassic World is due to hit theaters in the US on July 12.

He and actress Anna Faris, 38, have been married since 2009 and have a two-year-old son Jack together.
