Charlie Sheen is crying foul on Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s denial that the two partied together in Mexico.
Sheen says the claim that Villaraigosa only spent “three minutes with the actor” is completely false.
As TMZ is reporting, Sheen says he and the politician chatted with each other, as well as with some attractive women, for hours.
The local politician went on NBC 4 L.A. to deny claims that the two were boozing it up in a Cabo hotel room earlier this year.
Villaraigosa told the news station his experience with the tabloid-attracting actor was no big deal.
"I had a three-minute conversation and took a picture with him, that simple.... I take a picture virtually every single day, 50 times," Villaraigosa said.
But according to Sheen, his exchange with the mayor was more than a quick photo-op.
"I memorize 95 pages a week, so the last thing that I am is memory-challenged,” Sheen told TMZ.
“We hung out for the better part of two hours, discussing his L.A. roots, his poignant bullet campaign as well as his numeric 3 a.m. lawn-watering tactics."
Sheen also added that the Latino mayor is a great drinking partner.
"He's a terrific guy, a great mayor and he can drink with the best of 'em.'"
As of now Villaraigosa is sticking with his side of the story. The mayor's office told TMZ they would not comment further on the matter.
