It looks like Beyoncé and her sister, Solange, did not let the Met Gala scuffle stop them from vacationing together in Costa Rica.
A few days after the violent kerfuffle between Solange and Jay Z in the elevator of the Standard Hotel in New York City, the sisters jetted off to the Latin American country, where they attended Kelly Rowland's surprise wedding.
According to E! News, the siblings arrived in Costa Riva on May 8 and left a few days later.
They were joined by their mom, Tina Knowles, Rowland’s fiancé Tim Witherspoon and former Destiny’s Child band member Michelle Williams.
Us Weekly reported the wedding was “a quick, simple ceremony – only around 30 people.”
Queen B took to her Instagram the same day to share a shot of herself in what appeared to be a bridesmaid dress, captioning the photo: “Good morning.”
It appears Beyonce’s rapper husband did not make the trip – maybe he wanted to clear his head after the elevator family drama.
On Monday, TMZ posted elevator surveillance footage showed what appears to be Solange throwing punches and high-heeled kicks at her brother-in-law.
The clip, reportedly recorded May 5, shows a larger man attempting to restrain an aggravated woman (purportedly Solange), though she manages to make contact with a man wearing a white suit.
Neither the couple nor Solange has commented on the scandal, but Beyoncé and Jay Z were spotted happily sitting courtside at Monday night's Brooklyn Nets game against the Miami Heat.
Meanwhile, the hotel said it was investigating who leaked the footage.
"We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system," the hotel said in a statement.
