“Modern Family” star Ariel Winter clapped back at a body shaming troll on social media who maligned her New Year’s Eve Instagram post with her boyfriend.

Winter, 20, took to the social media site to share an image of herself ringing in 2019 with her boyfriend, Levi Meaden. In the photo, the couple are embracing and kissing with both hands on what appears to be a glass of champagne.

The star, who is no stranger to online harassers, fired back at one person who took the opportunity to chastise her for drinking underage. She noted that she was merely holding the glass so as to be a part of the New Year’s toast, but that anything acidic hurts her stomach.

However, it was the response by another fan that raised the star’s ire.

“Not half as bad as all the coke.meth she uses. She literally dropped 30 ponds [sic].”

Winter came back swinging, first making fun of the user’s misspelling of “pounds.”

“Yup... I dropped 30 bodies of water so fast…”

She continued: “and yes!! My psychiatrist switched me from my previous antidepressant that didn’t work and made me gain weight, to coke/meth!! Definitely not a new one that worked and then regulated my metabolism. Coke/meth was a controversial decision but she stands by it.”

The commenter continued jabbing at the star, noting that she is “living the Hollywood dream” by drinking, smoking and experimenting. “You people forget that is what people like her do.”

He or she then noted that they weren’t hating on the star.

“You’re actually gorgeous. But pills and nose candy go hand in hand with Hollywood. Enjoy yourself, but don’t get ruined by it.”

Winter, clearly having had enough of the exchange, issued a lengthy response.

“...thanks for the compliment...? I’m sure you know EXACTLY what goes on or is hand in hand with EVERYONE in Hollywood seeing as everyone knows everything about people they DON’T know. And apparently everyone does the same thing now??? I couldn’t have lost weight for any other reason just because of the industry I’m in? I’m not trying to be rude, but I am trying to let you know that telling someone how something happened to them AFTER they told you what actually happened (only the person it happened to would know) is sh----y and completely arrogant. I don’t need to explain myself to anyone. No one does. However, I want to cut this sh-- out of my thread right now. I think it definitely counts as hating on someone when you completely ignore the truth coming from the actual person, to just follow your own fantasy narrative.”

This isn’t the first time the star has received nasty comments on her social media. As previously reported, her on-screen sister, Sarah Hyland, fired back over the summer after fans got inappropriate about her body on a post of herself pumping gas.

“To all the pervs commenting on this post?” she wrote in defense of Winter. “GET OFFLINE AND GET BACK TO YOUR BLOWUP DOLL YA CREEPS!”
