Authorities say three people in a glider have been killed after their light aircraft went down in a Southeast Texas field.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says the crash happened around 5 p.m. Sunday near Willis, about 40 miles north of Houston.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the crash happened shortly after takeoff when the glider was released from a tow aircraft. DPS says the glider went into a nose dive and crashed.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the accident.
