A Manhattan real estate investor with three children was killed just days before Father’s Day in a skydiving accident that also killed his instructor, the Journal News reports.
David Winoker, a 49-year-old real estate mogul who lived in Chappaqua, N.Y., and 25-year-old Alexander Chulsky of Brooklyn were killed in the upstate New York mishap on Friday.
Police told YNN Hudson Valley that Winoker and Chulsky both died in the dive organized by Skydive the Ranch, in Ulster County, in what witnesses said looked like a parachute malfunction.
According to the paper, Winoker was president of Winoker Realty, specializing in Garment District real estate, and has also worked in construction management, citing the firm’s website.
Winoker is survived by his wife, Jillian Spitalnik Winoker, and three children.
