For the second time in a week, a group of young men has attacked a U.S. Embassy convoy with stones during a visit to a southern Lebanese city.

No one was hurt in the stone-throwing incident in the port city of Sidon, where anti-American sentiment is high.

The U.S. Embassy confirms that a delegation went to Sidon Thursday for a meeting with the internal security forces commander there and left the city safely after a meeting.

It said no further information was available.
