Spain: US couple in court over finding of son's body at home
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}An American couple have been brought to court to answers questions about the finding of the badly decomposed body of their 7-year-old son at the family's rented apartment in the northeastern Spanish city of Girona.
The couple, whose names have not been released by authorities, were taken to the court around 8 a.m. (0700 GMT) Friday but it was not certain at what time they would appear before the judge.
Police on Tuesday arrested the two — a 39-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman — on suspicion of reckless homicide after officers found the child's body on a bed under several blankets.
