Two brothers are facing murder charges after a road rage incident turned deadly Monday night in Pasadena, Texas. A 30-year-old father of four, Thomas Brock, was fatally shot after allegedly cutting off another driver with his truck.

The suspected killers are Steven Rodriguez, 24, and Jacob Rodriguez, 29, according to KHOU-TV, Houston.

One of the brothers – it’s still uncertain which – was at the wheel by himself when he became outraged because Brock almost hit him. According to Pasadena police, minutes before Rodriguez had tried to intervene in a marital fight Brock and his wife were having on the side of the road. When things started to get steamy, the Brocks got back in their truck and started driving.

That’s when the real trouble began.

"[He] took his shirt off and was trying to fight him, and my husband was like, 'Look, I don't want to fight, just chill out, just go on about your business’," Julie Brock told KHOU-TV, Houston. "He just kept wanting to fight."

Rodriguez followed them home and once there the two men got into a fistfight. After a few minutes he left as angry as he had arrived, saying he would be back.

"We heard a knock. Really strong. Almost trying to throw out the door. Like really hard," said neighbor Antonio Baltizar.

Rodriguez had returned, with his brother this time, and practically dragged Brock out of the house and shot him at least once in the chest, neighbors told KHOU.

"[The] dude with the rifle kicked that door in. And Tommy was right there. And bam, bam, two shots," said Michael Mullins, another neighbor.

Brock ran across the street for help and collapsed on his driveway.

"They came and killed a man that was a wonderful husband, and wonderful father and a wonderful brother. And son and son-in-law. He worked for so many people. He was the hardest worker you'd ever find. Ever," said Julie Brock.

Steven and Jacob Rodriguez were arrested and charged with capital murder. According to KPRC 2 News, Jacob Rodriguez is the suspected shooter.
