Police say they now have the video card from a camera that may have recorded the events leading to women's death after falling from a hang glider in British Columbia.

Lenami Godinez-Avila, 27, was celebrating with her boyfriend last Saturday with a hang-gliding excursion, but tumbled out of her harness only seconds after take-off. Witnesses said the young woman fell 984 feet (300 meters) to her death while her boyfriend watched.

Hang glider pilot Jon Orders has been held in custody following allegations that he swallowed the video card that recorded the incident.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police confirmed Friday that they now have the card. Earlier this week police said in court that X-rays showed the card was inside Orders' body.
