When boricuas gather in the streets of New York City and sing "Que Bonita Bandera" (Translation: What a Beautiful Flag) at the Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday, they probably won't be singing about the Cuban flag. It seems, however, that the New York Daily News needs some reminding.
On Thursday, the New York publication prominently featured the Cuban flag on a Puerto Rican Day Parade advertisement, behind the image of New York Giants wide receiver, Victor Cruz.
